This anthology will showcase stories related to the conflict and war between Angels vs. Demons and those caught in the crossfire. Writers are encouraged to explore any style or genre as long as Angels vs. Demons are featured. Sci-Fi, horror, fantasy, comedy, western, etc., are all welcome. However, happily ever after's are not required!

 

No detailed sexually explicit scenes or activities are allowed in this anthology. Only content that would be considered rated PG-13 to R. Any sexual activity by characters must establish mutual consent and be of legal age (18 years or older).

 

We want this book to offer a wide variety. The following are some sub-genres to consider.

 

Thriller, campy, western, sci-fi, noir, mystery, historical, paranormal, time-travel, horror, dystopian, fantasy, apocalyptic, action-adventure, magical, romance, coming of age, fairy tale, realism, etc.

 

Darkist will not accept stories featuring: Extreme violence toward children, scat, pedophilia/incest, rape, or bestiality.

Please submit your STORY and TITLE PAGE as follows:

Word document (.doc, .docx or .rtf). DO NOT PASTE YOUR STORY INTO THE BODY OF YOUR EMAIL.

Please include the following information on your TITLE PAGE:

1. STORY TITLE & Word Count

2. Author Name (*pseudonym you want to be published as)

3. Legal Name

4. Current Mailing address & phone number

5. Web Address (if you have one)

6. Email address

7. Twitter/web address (if you have one)

8. Author Bio of 150 words or less written in the third person. Do not list previous works! Instead, be interesting. Write something fun/pithy about you.

 

Number ALL the pages of your STORY SUBMISSION.

1. Use double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12-point, black font.

2. Strict word count limit: 3000-4500 words

3. Indent the first line of each paragraph. Please no extra spaces between paragraphs.

4. Submit the final, best-edited version of your story. Please check spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

5. Please use US punctuation and spelling.
